The sisters built a herbal garden in an area devasted by an earthquake, where they are now cultivating herbal teas with curative effects. They sell herbal bath packs, essential oils which is used in many countries of East Asia.
The sisters support unemployed women by providing a kitchen where they can transform natural products into jams, sweets, preserves using seasoning from their own production. They also make soap from leftover fat, and run an organic community garden. Through their productivity, they grow in awareness, dignity and self-esteem.
The sisters run a forest project for which they ask people to donate trees. They are planting the seedling in harmony with nature, knowing what grows best where. They also have 36 gardens where volunteers can come and plant.
The sisters organised an eco-evening and eco walk to which 60 people came in order to discover plants and homemade herbal drinks and to buy items that the sisters made from recycled material. The sisters also prepared an ecofriendly meal and showed people how to save water when washing up.
The sisters run an organic farm for textaloan.org.uk interreligious groups, where for example migrants can come to discover common values and learn respect for each other. They also collect coconuts to give to the poor.
The sisters have produced audio-visual materials for education and entertainment. and booklets on herbal medicines and their use. They organise prayer services and write a newsletter.
The sisters celebrate local ecology-related feasts and share videos about the environment in their communities. They collaborate with the government (in Chennai) on environmental issues.
